EPOXY PRIMER
DEFINITION
> It is an epoxy resin-based, high-strength, two-component, corrosion-resistant, reaction-drying anticorrosive primer containing zinc phosphate. It protects metals working under heavy conditions against rust and corrosion.
AREA OF USE
> It is formulated to be used in petrochemical facilities, tanks, bridges, ships, prefabricated structures, industrial facilities, metal constructions, concrete surfaces where resistance to moisture and corrosion is required.

SURFACE PREPARATION
> Before application, surface oil, dust, dirt, previously painted surfaces, paint residues etc. must be completely free of such substances.
> Care should be taken to ensure that the surface is completely dry before the application.
> Materials blasted to Sa 2½ should be primed within a maximum of four hours.
> The material should be sandblasted again as oxidation will start on the surface within the time extension.
APPLICATION
> Before preparing the mixture, Dorepox topcoat (comp. A) is thoroughly mixed with a low-speed hand mixer.
> After the mixture becomes completely homogeneous, 7 volumes of Dorepox Primer (komp.A) and 1 volume of Dorepox Primer Hardener (komp.B) are mixed with a low-speed paint hand mixer.
> It is thinned with Dorepox Thinner and made ready for use.
MIX LIFE 
> It should be consumed within 6-8 hours at > 20°C. This time decreases as the temperature increases.
THINNING
> Can be thinned with Dorepox Epoxy thinner.
STORAGE
> Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, in sealed packages.
> The packaging must be kept closed when used.
> It can be stored for 1 year without opening the lid.
