SILICONE ACRYLIC EXTERIOR PAINT

DEFINITION

> Acrylic emulsion based exterior paint with silicone.

PROPERTIES

> Thanks to its silicon additive, it has high water repellent resistance, high water vapor permeability and allows moisture to escape.

> It is an exterior paint with high ability to cover easily, especially resistant to ultra violet rays, with high alkali and chemical resistance.

APPLICATION AREA

> It can be applied on all kinds of concrete, gas concrete, brick plaster and similar mineral surfaces, as well as on silicate or acrylic based paints that have lost their color.

SURFACE PREPARATION

> The surfaces to be newly painted should be cleaned from all kinds of oil, dirt and swollen layers and a surface should be created where the paint can hold.

> Priming the old painted surfaces with Feronia silicone-based exterior primer after the necessary ground preparation will provide a significant economy in paint consumption.

 APPLICATION

> Silicone Based Exterior Paint is diluted by maximum 15% and applied to the facade by brush, roller or spraying.

> The painting should be thinned with 15% water and applied in two coats at least 24 hours after the priming process. It is recommended to wait 12 hours between each paint job.

> Take care to keep the surface temperature between +5°C and +30°C during application.

> It is recommended to clean the tools and equipment used with water.

DRYING TIME (20°C):

> Touch Dry : 1-2 hours

> Second coat application: 10-12 hours

> Final Drying: 24 hours

(drying time may be longer with higher humidity and lower temperature)

STORAGE

> It can be stored for 2 years in its unopened package, in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight.
