SILICONE GRAINY EXTERIOR PAINT

DEFINITION

> Silicone and patterned water-based exterior coating. It is a long-lasting, thin and thick patterned facade cladding material that can be used both inside and outside, which is applied with a roller and patterned with a roller, which covers surface defects with the pattern and thickness it creates.

PROPERTIES

> With its high water repellent ability, it allows the rain water hitting the facade to flow off without wetting the surface.

> With its high water vapor permeability, it allows the buildings to breathe by being thrown out without blocking the water vapor.

> Does not absorb, swell, crack or fade from heavy weather conditions such as rain, snow, humidity, extreme cold or heat.

APPLICATION AREA

> On the exterior, it can be applied to mineral surfaces such as black plaster concrete cement board and old painted surfaces, and to interior surfaces with its decorative appearance when desired.

SURFACE PREPARATION

>It should be checked that the surface is sound, dry, clean and able to support itself.

> Dust, dirt, old and swollen layers that reduce adhesion on the surfaces to be applied must be completely cleaned.

> Before applying on new mineral surfaces, the surface should be allowed to dry.

> Surface smoothing repairs should be used appropriately where necessary.

> Exterior wall putty should be used for repairing and stripping hairline cracks.

APPLICATION

> It should be primed with mineral based ACRYLIC PRIMER or SILICONE PRIMER.

> It should be done at least 24 hours after priming.

> It can be applied as a single layer without thinning.

> When two coats are required, 10-15% of the first coat is applied without diluting the second coat.

> It can be applied to the surface with any kind of roller (patterning with a coral roller is recommended) or by spraying.

> Care should be taken to ensure that the surface temperature is between +5°C and +30°C during application.

> Wait 4 weeks for newly plastered surfaces.

> Depending on the weather conditions, at least 12 hours should be waited between coats.

> With the application, a thickness of 1.0-1.5 mm is obtained.

DRYING TIME (20°C):

> Final drying : 24 hours

STORAGE

> It can be stored for 2 years in its unopened package, in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight.
